Back Pack 2x200L

The Back Pack 2 x 200L consists of two separate 200 L reservoirs, providing a total capacity of up to 400 L. The reservoirs can be connected to subsea HPUs, Dirty Work Packs, or other auxiliary equipment.

A typical setup uses one reservoir as a clean/supply source and the other as a dirty/return reservoir to prevent fluid mixing. The unit also includes a motor/pump assembly that functions as a transfer pump, enabling fluid transfer from the Back Pack reservoirs to an ROV, RWOCS reservoir, or a Dirty Work Pack.

The Back Pack is fitted with buoyancy elements to maintain near-neutral buoyancy and maintain the ROV’s manoeuvrability. If hydrocarbons become trapped inside a reservoir, the system is equipped with an ROV-operated valve for safe venting to seawater prior to recovery.

The Back Pack is designed as a compact, easy-to-integrate, and service-friendly all-in-one pump system.
